Gif Images and Banners

www.gifninja.com

This website can help an artist out tremendously - it helps you to create an animated gif from multiple photos or a short video clip - you can then upload the gif as your profile pic on myspace, or you can use it as a banner...and best of all, its free!

To use this or any other image as a banner, copy the html code into your About Me section.

To allow fans to copy the banner to thier profile (which you definately want) you'll need to paste the banner code again directly below it, but with a little html added to it - so it should look like this:

<textarea>YOUR BANNER CODE HERE</textarea>

Posting Links

If you have more than one site and you want users to add your other sites (ie. facebook, twitter, reverbnation, purevolume, whatever) rather than just posting the plain link, why not spice it up with a photo? Doing this is very simple and it makes your link look 10 times more attractive. Ok, so get the html code for the pic ur going to use (uploading it to myspace or photobucket will give you the html code), then you will need to REPLACE the url in the beginning - pay very close attention to the code below - where it says "http://www.YOUR WEBSITE LINK HERE" there will be a very long link - everything that is contained in THAT SET of quotation marks needs to be removed. then you will paste the "http://www.YOUR WEBSITE LINK HERE" in place of the old link.

<a href="http://www.YOUR WEBSITE LINK HERE"><img src="http://i489.photobucket.com/albums/rr259/bravethesewaters/addmyfacebook.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" /></a>

This will redirect fans to your site when they click on the image.

Image Alignment

By default your image will be aligned to the right or left (depending on your myspace settings). But to center the image, paste the following code directly ABOVE the image code. You can use this multiple times in the same section for a clean, well aligned look:

<div style="text-align:center">
